Sheila (pronounced SHAY la) grew up in McAllen, Texas, which is located in the southernmost point of Texas, bordering Mexico. She obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2014 from the University of Texas Pan America. In 2018, she decided to return to grad school, and I obtained my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, a Hispanic serving institution. She then moved to Memphis, Tennessee, in December 2022 due to the need for bilingual mental health professionals
